May 1st, 2010Ratzeputz with new campaign and logo
With a new motto and a new logo Ratzeputz is starting into the new decade. In addition to the commonly well known Ratzeputz - devil, is introducing a new campaing and logo.
Once more a devil is the eye catcher, but this time along with the slogan "EINFACH HÄRTER", which means "SIMPLY TOUGHER".
The attendance at several hardrock festivals is part of the campaign. The first of which has already taken place from April 30th to May 1st at the CD-Kaserne in Celle.

In addition to the events, the new logo and the slogan, we also introduce new merchandise - articles. Already available is the new t-shirt and a sweatshirt. A cup will be introduced shortly. Please visit our accessories - page.

April 1st, 2010Baland & Langebartels bring out new products
In time for the holiday- and bbq - season C. W. Baland & Langebartels creates a new product. THE RATZEPUTZER. A small, spicy venison sausage consisting of boar, deer and doe. The ideal compagnion with a cold beer or an icecold Ratzeputz.
Exclusively produced for C. W. Baland & Langebartels by the butcher's shop Alfred Munstermann from Munster, this venison sausage is something very special. Of course the sausage contains some Ratzeputz which gives it its unique taste.
As a second highlight this year we present the Ratzeputz truffles. This chocolate speciality, which is produced by the Chocolaterie Rolf Baxmann is, just like the RATZEPUTZER, only available directly at (phone: +49(0)5141 22440), or in some selected delicatessen.
Of course also the Ratzeputz-truffles contain a good dash of our 58% ginger schnaps. This fact plus high quality chocolate lead to a unique taste experience. Further information can be found on our ALEXANDRA's products - page.
December 4th, 2009Baland & Langebartels supports equitation
For quite some time now Baland & Langebartels has been supporting equitation in Germany. Not only by donating prizes for several well known tournaments, but also by cooperating with some very successful equestrians.
One of the most well known horsewomen cooperating with Baland & Langebartels is for sure
Mrs. Munstermann-Zurhost with her Grand-Prix champion Eastman.
In 2009 Eastman and Mrs. Munstermann were successful in dressage at grand prix tournaments at Bargstedt, Elmlohe, Allersehl, Bremen and for the first time as winner of the tournament at Zierow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This is a picture of the winning duo:

Besides Mrs. Munstermann-Zurhorst the two successful equestrians Mr. Dirk Holländer and Mr. Steffen Buchheim cooperate with Baland & Langebartels.
To give you an impression of these two outstanding sportsmen, we have put together a small collection of photos from the tournament in Calvörde in 2009.

July 30th, 2009Chefs from Celle bring Ratzeputz and Heidegeist to New York
With lots of goodies from the "Lüneburger Heide" the three chefs from Celle Horst Niebuhr, Matthias Buske and Jens Stumpf surprised some hundred guests and their hosts from the Escoffier-Society.
Starting of with a cocktail made of "Heidegeist" and the ginger schnaps "Ratzeputz", a buckwheat roulade with marinated "Heide" trout, the famous German "Welf pudding" ending with a "Heide" honey parfait, the meal, based on recepies by Hermann Löns and the Welf family, convinced everybody.
At the end the proceeds from the event, were donated to a foundation which takes care of the education of unprivileged teenagers.
Next year the event will again be at the very top of the schedule of the three chefs from Celle, assured the chairman of the association of Chefs from Celle to their hosts from New York.
We as Baland & Langebartels are glad to announce that we will of course support this event again.
